Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) FAQ

  • What is Pay-As-You-Go?
    • PAYG, if available, is a payment method offered by your school.
    • PAYG is a no fee, automated and recurring billing plan, which allows you to split tuition payments over the course of the program to maintain your savings. No credit check or approval required!
  • How do I apply?
    • There is no application for PAYG.
    • All you have to do is select PAYG as your payment method and make the first payment. You will be automatically enrolled in PAYG for your program and your next payments will be processed automatically on the initial payment method used.
    • Your school will be notified that you have made a payment and enrolled in PAYG as your payment method.
    • Please note: your school may have additional steps required to complete your enrollment before you begin class.
  • Do you run my credit (soft pull or hard inquiry)?
    • No credit check is done.
  • How do I make a payment?
    • Payments can be made via eCheck, credit card and debit card. All major card brands are accepted.
    • Please note: the payment method you use to make your first payment will be used for all remaining automated and recurring payments, so make sure your form of payment selected has sufficient funds to cover the recurring payments.
  • Can a payment be made on my behalf?
    • Yes, you can use a parent’s credit card or other form of payment on your behalf, but make sure they are aware of the recurring payments!
    • Be sure to provide accurate contact information (email and phone number) so that you can stay up to date on upcoming payments.
  • How long does it take for my payment to process?
    • We’ll let you know as soon as you have submitted the payment whether it was approved or not.
    • You should see the payment on your statement later that day.
    • Echeck payments take about 5 days to process.
  • What are the payment terms?
    • The payment terms will vary by school and program, but we will always lay out the exact amounts and schedule for you before you submit the first payment.
    • Payments will not extend beyond the length of your program.
  • What if I drop out before my next payment?
    • You should always notify your school as soon as you intend to drop out. Your school can notify Climb that any remaining payments should be halted and we will not process any upcoming or remaining payments.
  • What happens if I miss a payment?
    • Climb will automatically process your payments according to the payment schedule and initial payment method used. If the payment fails, we will email you with next steps on how you can try again with a different payment method.
